Florida Creates Dedicated Unit Against Foreign Adversary Data Sharing



The Attorney General for the state of Florida has created a dedicated unit that aims to protect residents’ sensitive data from being collected by "foreign adversaries."

The unit, called the “Consumer Harm from International Nefarious Actors” (CHINA) Prevention Unit, uses an acronym that is pointed and singles out China, however the scope of the unit extends to all "foreign adversaries," the AG said.
