DJI-Insta360 Locked in Patent Dispute in Texas Court



Chinese drone manufacturer DJI and Chinese camera and imaging technology manufacturer Insta360 have filed competing patent infringement lawsuits against each other in Texas over key camera technologies.

DJI sued Insta360 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas over an alleged violation of “four of its utility patents involving gimbal control and tracking systems” by Insta360’s newly released Luna Ultra gimbal camera.
