Applicability: For the purposes of these Guidelines, the term “cited content in advertisements” means content such as data, statistical information, survey results, excerpts, quotations, etc. generated or produced by a natural person, legal person or other organization other than the advertiser that is cited in an advertisement and relates to the good or service (hereinafter collectively referred to as a “Good”) promoted by the advertiser (Article 2).
