Main contents: Where a PRC citizen engages in illegal or criminal activities abroad that jeopardize national security or interests, the relevant competent authority of the State Council or, after verification by the diplomatic mission abroad, the provincial-level People’s Government of the place where the citizen resides in the PRC may decide that he or she be prohibited from leaving the PRC for six months to not more than three years from the date he or she returned to the PRC.
