ITC AI-Related Patent Infringement Cases on the Rise



A major U.S. manufacturer of high-performance power modules has sought an application with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) for alleged patent infringement.

In a filing dated September 9, 2026, Vicor Corporation applied to the ITC under s.337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, which empowers the ITC to investigate whether there is “unfair competition in the importation of products into, or their subsequent sale in, the United States.”
